| Welcome to Linden One of the greatest pleasures in life is to have visitors. That is why we are so glad to see you. We hope your stay with us is relaxing, refreshing and most of all fun. Linden and Perry County is one of the most scenic places in our state and we invite you to enjoy it with us. If it is fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, hiking, camping or in other words if you love the outdoors, you will fall in love with our town and county. All we ask is that you leave it in as good a condition as you found it. We also are home to some of the finest people that you will ever meet. Treat them like you want to be treated, and you will have new friends for life. We have a saying here, "That if you wear out one pair of shoes here, you won't ever leave." I am a good example of that, having arrived here a stranger in 1971. Again, enjoy your stay. Jim Azbill Mayor of Linden |

| Linden Arts & Historic District Murals, multi-media art, clay tiles, storefronts, even the trash cans are art in downtown Linden! The Linden Arts & Historic District features over a dozen pieces of public art all created in response to the area's history and natural beauty. Most of the artwork was created in a 2009 summer-youth worker and employment program that was funded by the American Recover & Reinvestment Act. The program, which drew national media attention, featured 11 resident artists & staffed 20 local youths, ages 14-24. |

We have a great event planned with live music, unique arts and crafts, theatre in the street, delicious food, motorcycle safety awareness ride, and so much more! We hope to see you all there on July 24th for this eclectic day of events. Everything begins at 11 am and music continues on until after 9 pm.
Summer Jam July 24th is quickly approaching and bringing with it the Summer Jam Arts Fest. Summer Jam will be a day crammed full of fun events for the entire family. Music will be playing from 11 am till past dark on Main Street in Linden, TN. These musicians range from groups just starting off bringing a fresh new sound to groups that have been together for years and are still going strong. Artists, from different mediums, will be lining the streets eager to show off their beautiful handcrafted goods. Most of these artists have been working in their craft for many years and have perfected their particular craft to the find works that you will see on July 24th. Linden's Community Theatre will be there to provide you with entertainment in the form of skits that will keep the mood bright throughout the day. Great food will be available on the street including barbeque, hamburgers, corndogs, and fish just to name a few. There will also be some sweet, cool treats on this warm summer day to cool you off when you need it. As an added bonus there will be a motorcycle ride coming from Jackson to Linden as part of the Look Twice Save a Life campaign, which Linden has adopted. It is a campaign that is meant to help make all drivers be more aware of motorcyclists on the roads. We expect well over a thousand bikes so come by and see these beauties and help give a warm Perry County welcome to their riders. This promises to be a day that everyone can enjoy so mark your calendars for July 24th and be sure to come to downtown Linden for the Summer Jam Arts Fest.
