Wess started working for the Town of Linden in 2000. Since his employment, he has been the meter reader, utility worker, Zoning Officer, City Manager and our current Mayor. Wess is a native to Perry County and has been married to his wife, Lindsey for 5 years. He serves as the Director to our 911 Emergency Dispatch Board, a member of the Town of Linden Fire Department, and is the Title VI Director for City Hall. Mayor Ward has helped our Town grow and is a big advocate for tourism within our town.
Each year there are annual festivals and celebrations to encourage participation of the community and bring in visitors who have never experienced Linden or Perry County. Some of the annual events are:
