The Town of Linden provides natural gas and water services for a majority of the county. If you are in the cooperate city limits of Linden, we also provide sewer and garbage collection.
The source of water for Linden is the Buffalo River, and we are most proud of Linden for winning the top honor for best water in Tennessee this year, 2021. Next, they will participate in a nationwide competition in Washington, D.C. We know how good our water is, and soon everyone will know! Way to go, Don Bates and Mayor Wess Ward!
To get water turned on for your business or place of residence, fill out the application in this website, sign it, and take it to City Hall.

Whether you are building an addition, laying a new patio, planting a garden, or just digging a post hole. You don’t want to accidentally dig through the water lines!
Call at least three(3) business days in advance so that all of the Town of Linden owned buried pipe may be located and marked for you at NO CHARGE at your location!
All digging in the vicinity of piping should be carefully done by hand. This will avoid the inconvenience of disrupted service, personal injury and expensive repairs.
