Ashley Wheeler Weems, Mayor's Assistant

Ms. Weems has been an employee of City Hall for a total of eight years.  She is a member of Save the Children, the Director of Music on Main Street, and the Public Relations Representative for the Linden Fire Department. She also Volunteers with Shopping with Santa, and assists with city events when needed. She has a son, Cameron Weems, and is blessed with a life partner, Jonathan Martin. Her favorite band is Fleetwood Mac or the Doors, but she is a lover of all music from the 50’s era to current hits. She enjoys helping others and doing what she can for our community. She was named Public Servant of the Year for 2023, and an honor she was chosen and voted on by the community of  Perry County.
