Perry County has or had a hospital until recently.  There is some confusion as to whether or not we have a hospital.  (add article from BRR)

In the meantime, the Perry County Medical Center serves as our most capable emergency health center.  Their mission is:

Our mission is to offer patient-centered medical, dental, and behavioral health care, that is affordable and meets the needs of the people of Perry, Hickman, and the surrounding counties.

There are hospitals in several directions, and our county owned ambulance service, known as the Perry County Rescue Squad, will be directed to any emergency when you call 911 and request assistance.  In addition, the website for 911 services is www.perrycountytn.gov.
