Thursday, January 20, was the Grand Opening ceremony in Hohenwald of the latest TCAT expansion.  As part of the ceremony, Chancellor Flora Tydings presented a Philanthropy Award to Mayor Ward and the Town of Linden for its support of the furtherance of technical education in Perry County with three courses now being offered, Industrial Maintenance, Welding and EMT classes being held locally.  

The celebration also included a ribbon-cutting and open house at TCAT's new 10,000 sq. ft. expansion which houses nursing programs, surgical nursing, and various new programs such as Forestry and Ag Technology, as well as Power Sports Technology. 

In attendance and speaking from the podium were Mayor John Carroll, Chamber Director Allyson Dickey, Senator Dr. Hensley, Dr. Flora Tydings, and Kelli , Director of TCAT Hohenwald.
